The Three Shires Textile Fesitval - 4th - 19th July 2009
Day schools with leading designers including Kaffe Fassett, a Grand Textiles Auction with TV antiques expert Adam Partridge, historic textile collections, contemporary exhibitions, behind-the-scenes visits to historic houses, churches and textile factories, and textile craft workshops for all ages are just a few of the highlights in the 2-week programme of events Three Shires Textile Festival this summer.
Buxton Festival has a special place in the hearts of music and literature lovers.
The wide-ranging 
opera programme now includes two full-scale festival productions.
