Armchair Walks around Old Poynton
You will enjoy a sedate stroll from the luxury of a cinema chair, allowing you to go back in time and view the streets of old Poynton as you have never seen it before. Roy Dudley (local historian and one of the Museum’s Trustees) will be giving an explanatory talk allowing people to understand the richness of the scenes before them.
Normal admission prices apply, no additional charge for Armchair Walk.

Road Directions
Approx 7 miles from junction 1, and 9 miles from junction 3 of the M60. Follow the brown tourist signs from Poynton traffic lights. From Poynton village centre, travel up Park Lane, take left turn as the road splits, taking the signs for the golf club, at the next road fork, turn right into Anson Road, the museum is on the left.

Nearest station – Poynton (2 miles)
Take bus 191 to the Boars Head, Higher Poynton and 10 minutes walk down Anson Road to the museum entrance.
